About this countdown timer
Can I set a custom time?
Yes — combine hours, minutes and seconds freely (up to 23:59:59), or use one of the one-tap presets from 1 minute to 1 hour for common use cases like tea, breaks or quick sprints.
Will it notify me when time is up?
You'll see a pulsing "Time's up!" message, get a toast notification, and — if sound is enabled — hear a chime. The progress bar shows exactly how much time remains.
Is it accurate if I switch tabs?
The remaining time is always computed from real clock timestamps, so the display is correct the moment you come back. Browsers may delay the chime slightly while a tab is in the background.
